1st Newsletter of the European Network on Inclusive Education & Disability, incluD-ed: Good Practices from Around Europe
The European Network on Inclusive Education & Disability, incluD-ed, has launched its first newsletter, reaching a vast array of European experts and organisations dealing with inclusive education.
The newsletter features an interview with Wiltrud Thies about inclusive education in Germany and the work of the inclusive school Sophie-Scholl. A series of interviews from different actors all around Europe active in the field of inclusive education is foreseen for the upcoming newsletters. This fist newsletter also announces the upcoming network publication titled “Inclusive Education ¬ Disability. Good Practices from around Europe” containing seven good practices on inclusive education identified and carried out by the network partners.
A section of the newsletter is dedicated to important news about the network and events the network participated in such as the European VET Conference held in Cyprus under the Cypriot EU Presidency. Four good practices submitted by members of the incluD-ed virtual community from Austria and Poland were highlighted. The newsletter presents furthermore new members in the incluD-ed virtual community including experts and organisations from Belgium, Spain and Malta. Information on new resources on the incluD-ed website available for download as well as upcoming conferences in 2013 in the field of inclusive education rounded off the first edition of the incluD-ed newsletter.This newsletter will mark the start of a continuous communication strategy from the network to its community members.
