Launching of the Education For All Global Monitoring Report 2012, Youth and Skills: Putting Education to work
The International Education For All (EFA) seminar 2012 on the occasion of the Launch of the EFA Global Monitoring Report 2012, Youth and skills: Putting education to work, took place on 8-9 November 2012 at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland
The international seminar engaged the local civil society, public and private agencies, schools and education offices and linked the local challenges with global education policies and processes.
The seminar program included the following topics and sessions:
- - Voices of the Youth on Skills and Work
- - A Summary of the EFA Global Monitoring Report 2012
- - Youth, International Mobility and Global Responsibilities
- - Vocational Education and Training For All, Including Persons with Disabilities
- - Music Outreach Programmes
- - Learning to Read: Overcoming global challenges
- - Participatory theatre, sharing of knowledge, thematic discussions

The two-day seminar was organized in collaboration with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture, Finnish National Commission for UNESCO, Centre for International Mobility (CIMO) and the Finnish University Partnership for International Development (UniPID).
