UDL: A License to Learn - Call for Papers
AHEAD’s international conference 2015 organised with support from the LINK Network on the topic “UDL: A License to Learn“ will take place in March 19th & 20th 2015 at the Dublin Castle Conference Centre. It will focus on Universal Design for Learning - What is it, best practice, research and how to implement it in your curriculum.
Call for Papers - Deadline: Nov 12th, 2014
If you are an academic, student, policy maker or disability support professional with an interest in this area, we are seeking papers for presentation which seek to explore or address one of the following topics:
- - Innovations in Disability Support Services in embracing a UDL model.
- - Flexibility and variation in teaching, learning & assessment, including in professional courses.
- - Practical Methods of implementing UDL across student support services.
- - Latest developments in the wider campus life – clubs & societies, erasmus & work placement.
- - Technology & it’s role in enhancing the educational experience.
- - Research in UDL field.
How to Submit
To submit a proposal, complete the submission form and return it to by Nov 12th 2014. We are not in a position to pay fees or expenses but all selected presenters will get 50% off the conference fee.

What is UDL?
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a set of principles for curriculum development that give all individuals equal opportunities to learn, including Students with Disabilities. This growing movement aims to improve the educational experience of all students by introducing more flexible methods of teaching, assessment and service provision to cater for different styles of learners.
