Call for schools! SURVEY on “Quality Factors of Inclusive Education in Europe”
Jue, 16/04/2015
The incluD-ed network invites schools in Spain, France, Finland, Czech Republic, Austria, the UK, Ireland and Iceland to take part in a pilot study entitled:
“Quality Factors of Inclusive Education in Europe. An Exploration.”
This pilot research study is currently being conducted in inclusive schools and inclusive educational settings in eight European countries with the aim of exploring the quality of inclusive processes for students with disabilities.
We would be grateful if schools in these countries which include students with disabilities would participate in this study by completing a simple questionnaire. To get the questionnaire just send an e-mail to or phone us at +34 933 670 434. The completed questionnaire should be send back before 15 May 2015. We estimate that it will take about 30 minutes to complete. The survey should preferably be filled out by the school’s head teacher in collaboration with the relevant SENCO/diversity teacher. Please note that this is an international questionnaire, which might contain questions that seem less appropriate in your national context.
The questionnaire is divided in four different blocks and covers data on different aspects and topics related to inclusive education in schools:
- > BLOCK 1. School Information
- > BLOCK 2. School policy and practices
- > BLOCK 3. School resources
- > BLOCK 4. View of disability and inclusion
All participating schools will be acknowledged by the incluD-ed network on the incluD-ed website and in the publication of the study “Quality Factors of Inclusive Education in Europe. An Exploration” (to be released at the end of 2015) and will receive all study results.
Thank you very much in advance for collaborating in a study that we believe will serve to further promote inclusive education in Europe.
