EASPD EMPLOYMENT FOR ALL AWARD

EASPD invites you to share stories about your best practice, method or tool in the contest for the EASPD EMPLOYMENT FOR ALL AWARD
Your best practice will be promoted during the EASPD Conference on Employment to be held in Zadar (Croatia) from 7 to 8 May 2015. The conference will also be a good opportunity for participants to debate on the implementation of the newly endorsed EASPD Employment Declaration.
Your best practice will be available on www.easpd.eu and if selected will be published. A selection of best practices will be included in a publication for conference delegates and stakeholders throughout Europe.
The Jury: representatives of the organizing partners of the conference i.e. Business-world, the Council of Europe, ILO, Ministry of Family and DPO’s will nominate 3 practices for the award.
The 3 nominees will receive an invitation to the conference; their best practices will be presented at the conference, and they will participate in the final award ceremony.
NEW! There will be two categories to enter. One for businesses/employers and the other category for social services and support providers.
The winner will be announced at the conference and will receive an award.
Criteria: your best practice.
- - Has proven its merits in improving support conditions for integrating work- and career- opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- - Is an active and on-going practice and it has positive prospects for future activity. It is preferably integrated in mainstream operations.
- - Is about support leading to improvement of employment opportunities, including promotion of autonomy and an environment that is empowering.
- - Is about supporting and promoting quality in work and in work- and career- opportunities.
- - It can be part of support-processes built around the person.
