ZERO PROJECT CONFERENCE 2015 on “INDEPENDENT LIVING AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION: Innovative Policies and Practices for Persons with Disabilities”

The ZERO PROJECT CONFERENCE 2015 ON “INDEPENDENT LIVING AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION: Innovative Policies and Practices for Persons with Disabilities” will take place from 25-27 February 2015 at the United Nations Office/Vienna International Centre, in Vienna, Austria.
Once again, the Essl Foundation, the World Future Council and the European Foundation Centre have joined forces to convene an international conference at the UN Vienna, Austria. On this occasion, we aim to raise awareness about innovative practices and policies from around the world that advance independent living and political participation for persons with disabilities. The conference seeks to strengthen the commitment of all stakeholders to promote, protect and advance the rights of persons with disabilities, and to improve their daily lives. In particular, the fourth Zero Project Conference will:
* gather more than 500 decision makers and opinion leaders from more than 50 countries,
* highlight 50 Innovative Policies and Innovative Practices concerning Independent Living and Political Participation from around the world;
* involve leading experts from all over the world in the discussion of the most relevant solutions to work for the common goal of the implementation of the UN CRPD.
Participants will get their personal and official invitation, along with the registration link, by mid-November. Participation at the Zero Project Conference 2015 is free, but by invitation only.
