11th EUSE Conference - Building an Inclusive Europe through Supported Employment

Ireland, currently holding the presidency in the Council of the European, will host 11th conference of the European Union of Support Employment under the title 'Building an Inclusive Europe through Supported Employment'. The three-day conference is organized by the Irish Association of Supported Employment (IASE) in conjunction with the European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) and takes place from 11-13 June 2013, in Croke Park Stadium and Conference Centre, Dublin.
The conference will show case the many best practice initiatives and developments taking place across the world which seeks to promote equality, active citizenship, full inclusion, self advocacy, equal opportunity and the human rights of individuals with a disability and people from other disadvantaged situations.
The conference will welcome some of the world’s top thinkers in the area of disability and employment, as well as frontline service providers, from all over Europe, America, South America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
In addition to key note speeches addressing some of the most pressing issues affecting people with disabilities when it comes to securing and maintaining employment, a range of parallel sessions including presentations, seminars and workshops are organized.
The conference will cover a wide array of topics:

The conference is an associated event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which means it could potentially play a role in shaping employment and social policy affecting almost 500 million European citizens.
