IncluD-ed cities are moving forward!

The present year has begun with a lot of activity for the Includ-ed participating cities! A meeting with the Local Promoting Group has already taken place, or is about to in the coming weeks, in all of them.The Association APF held a meeting in January with the "steering group", and had another meeting with the services of the city hall. A further meeting with the group of different council services is to take place in the coming days, too. Due to the large number of participants in the Local Promoting Group of Lièvin, 5 different working groups were created to work separately, dealing with education, people with disability, socio-medical issues,training sector and town hall services. The Liévin LPG has also created a steering comittee consisting of representatives of all groups, so as to share the work each one of them is accomplishing.
Meanwhile, the Kynnys Association held its first meeting at the end of January. The Jyväskylä group is considering expandint, with new members from other organizations or parents’ associations.
For its part, the Rytmus association is going to hold its first meeting on 15th February, and will also participate in working groups on inclusive education next 23rd and 29th February.
Finally, ONCE Foundation will hold its first Meeting and formalize its Local Promoting Group on May.
We hope that all these meetings will be fruitful and the Includ-ed participating cities will soon share their progress.
