Mission: Our mission is to develop innovative business activities to foster the employment of people with disabilities while maintaining a balance between social values and profits.
Vision: Ilunion aims to be a competitive social corporate group committed to diversifying its activities into markets that generate employment for people with disabilities, thus ensuring social sustainability in an increasingly global economy.
History
ILUNION is born from HOPE (ilusión in Spanish), UNITY (unión in Spanish), and SOLIDARITY. These are the values sustained by ONCE for 76 years, and by its Foundation, for 26. We are convinced that our project for a socially responsible corporation, that is unique in the entire world, enriches and brings diversity to the business network and to society as a whole.
ILUNION is a result of the merger of CEOSA and Fundosa, former corporate groups of ONCE and the ONCE Foundation, respectively. The merger had the purpose of consolidating a strong business platform to offer our customers comprehensive proposals and solutions as well as our expertise in each business sector.
The ONCE Corporate Group (CEOSA) began its activities in 1993 by creating profitable corporations that provided employment opportunities for professionals who were blind, had low vision or other disabilities. These companies carried out their business activities in areas such as facility services (industrial cleaning, security and surveillance, temporary job placement, pest control, and urban furnishing, among others), travel and leisure, hotel industry, physiotherapy and insurance brokerage.
Fundosa Group was founded in 1989 as an initiative of the ONCE Foundation to generate quality employment for persons with disabilities. This corporate group followed a management system that enabled them to maintain a balance between profits and social benefits. Among their most relevant business activities are: industrial laundry (their company Flisa is leader in this sector in Spain), Contact Center, BPO, ICT and Universal Accessibility consultancy and solutions, elder and disabled social and health care services, and manufacturing support services.
